Hole Sponsorships

The coming golf season marks the beginning to a whole new opportunity for local businesses to increase exposure of their products and/or services to the diverse golfer demographic that we see in Balfour.  The golf industry is currently experiencing a major growth period and we have been fortunate enough to realize a 46% increase to over 20,000 rounds played this past season.  More rounds means more exposure and increased value for your marketing dollars!

With a limited number of holes available (eighteen to be exact), multiple options for length of sponsorship, and the additional promotion that comes with being a Balfour Golf & Recreation Hole Sponsor, this opportunity is significant and should not be passed up.

Each sponsor sign will be created to last using rigid aluminum construction and a five year outdoor vinyl overlay.  All Hole Sponsor signage will be designed with identical border and back ground colours and will provide each business with an area 22" W x 8" H within which to include their business logo and information.

Each Hole Sponsor will be given:

• Signage rights on the hole of their choice
• Option to renew following contract completion
• First right of refusal on any additional in-house sponsorship opportunities
• Logo & website link on our Friends of Balfour page
• Partner Spotlight released in an upcoming BGR news letter and shared on our social channels

The fine print:

• Once the contract is signed and signage has gone into production, the sponsorship of your chosen hole is yours until the end of your contract term.
  • Should you change your branding or business information necessitating production of a new sign, the creative for said sign must be pre-approved and must follow our standardized colour and layout format.  The cost of this replacement sign will be incurred by the sponsoring business.
  • Should you sell your business or should it cease operation, your hole sponsorship will remain in tact until contract completion.  You may transfer your sponsorship with the business sale or in the case of business closure, may sell the remaining time to another approved business.  As mentioned above, any new or revised signage must be pre-approved and the cost of production will be incurred by the sponsoring business.
