Junior Golf
2025 is set to be an exciting and pivotal year for Junior Golf in Balfour. Long time resident, employee and all 'round lover of the Kootenay Life, Brendan Watts, has come full circle and will be re-joining our team in a full time capacity. A large portion of Brendan's focus will be working with youth and facilitating, at long last, a proper Junior Program!
This page will be regularly updated as we develop our plan. For the moment, we'll focus on the early portion of our coming season and Junior Golf Instruction.
Spring Group Classes - $150
- Six weeks of group instruction
- Sundays beginning April 13
- 6 - 9 years from 2 - 3 pm
- 10 - 12 years old form 3:30 - 4:30 pm
- Maximum 6 students per session
- Additional times, dates, and/or age groups may be added based on demand

Junior Lessons with Brendan - $50
Brendan has spent an extensive amount of time teaching golf to youth in the past few years. He is a World Golf Teachers Federation Certified instructor and enjoys his time introducing the children of our community to the game of golf. Brendan has a knack for communicating effectively, garnering him much respect and admiration from his students. Providing his students with a fun and safe environment in which to enjoy their time spent golfing is Brendan's number one priority. One on one instruction provides an ideal environment for youth who are showing a keen interest or natural ability for golf.
