Over the past few of seasons, there has been a notable increase in parent-child play here in Balfour.  Learning to play and enjoy the game of golf offers countless long-term benefits, from fresh air and exercise to improved mental well-being and stronger relationships.  Golf is not just a game; it’s an opportunity to create meaningful family memories while fostering a happy and healthy lifestyle.  What better way to experience these benefits than by making golf a cherished family pastime!

We couldn't be happier to see this on going evolution and 2025 will be the year where we look to introduce a more structured approach to our Family and Junior Golf Programming.  Introducing the Parent Pass, an exciting new product designed to take your family time to the next level! 

All Parent Pass options have been built based on the age of your child(ren) and include unlimited play after 3 pm for one parent and one child, all season long!

 

Youth Parent - $800

  • One Parent and one Junior age 6 - 9
    • Additional Parent - $300
    • Additional Child - $100
  • $150 Driving Range Credit
  • Save $25 when registering for Spring Group Classes

Pre-Teen Parent - $1,000

  • One Parent and one Junior age 10 - 12
    • Additional Parent - $400
    • Additional Child - $150
  • $150 Driving Range Credit
  • Save $25 when registering for Spring Group Classes

Teen Parent - $1,200

  • One Parent and one Junior age 13 - 15
    • Additional Parent - $500
    • Additional Child - $200
  • $150 Driving Range Credit
  • Save $30 on a 3-pack of Spring 1 on 1 Junior Instruction 

Full Play Parent

  • One free Junior Pass for children age 6 - 18 when a parent purchases an 18-hole Full Play Pass
    • No time restrictions for Junior Passholders 16-18 years old
    • Additional Parent or Child can be added based on child's age 
  • Save $30 on a 3-pack of Spring 1 on 1 Junior Instruction

Program Details

  • Any time green fee rates
    • $55 18-holes
    • $40 9-holes
  • Parents must be accompanied by one or more junior golfers when utilizing after 3 pm playing privileges.  Unaccompanied Parent Pass holders will receive a $10 Twilight Rate discount when playing without their children
  • Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Children age 13 - 15, given demonstration of skill and understanding of course etiquette, may be awarded special Management exemption to play without adult presence and/or before 3 pm
  • Time restrictions are firm and may be adjusted according to time of year and golf course traffic 
  • Additional $20 BRC Membership to be added per adult
  • Parent Passes for families with multiple children will be based on the price associated to the oldest child
